Dave Moore was born in the peaceful village of Chatham. He has traveled extensively experiencing the works of the Masters of both modern and classical art. Born to an artistic heritage, David has developed an extraordinary vision strongly influenced by Henri Rouseau, Edward Hopper and Leonardo. While learning a BFA degree in Illustration at the renowned Rhode Island School of Design, David was taught by some of the contemporary masters of our time including David MacAulay and Chris Janney who played important roles in his early development.. Studying a variety of disciplines, including architecture and renaissance painting techniques, has led to compelling use of classical mediums in unconventional ways. Over the last ten years, David has experimented with many styles of Painting, recently returning to his roots of shimmering colored gem-like abstractions of Life
