The two illustrations can be considered the old and the new in Cleveland Sports. Growing up I can remember listening to Gib Shanley on the radio and hearing names like Gary Collins and Leroy Kelley, watching the Kardiac Kids, but the team era that I felt closest to was that of Bernie Kosar and the Dawgs. Today in Cleveland the undisputed King of Sports is Lebron James. Both of these works were watercolor and colored pencil on illustration board. The originals were raffled away at fundraisers.
