Current Gallery: oman ( piece)
In December 2006 and January 2007, I was fortunate to take a trip to Oman to visit my family, including my three younger sisters. I had dreamed about visiting the Arabian Peninsula for many years, but had not found the opportunity to go. My family's move to Muscat was the opportunity I'd been waiting for. Oman has a complex multicultural history, due in part to their historical trade relationships with Africa and Asia. The coastline is one of the most stunning in the world, and most of its wilderness remains pristine. Three weeks was not nearly enough to begin exploring this amazing culture and country, but I hope these photographs will give you an inkling of Oman's dazzling, austere beauty.
