I am a Mystic Quaker with Christian roots and a very open, ecumenical attitude. I consider most of my work to be spiritual, but many of these pieces are overtly so. A number of the artworks shown here spring from silent meditations. I try to spend about two weeks per year on silent retreats and would love to do a 40-day retreat. While other kids were dreaming of superheroes, I was dreaming of being a religious hermit. Although silence feels natural, I can also be a complete chatterbox - as many friends can attest to!
