Isolated shots of industrial metal and wood found in small fishing village in SW Alaska over a four month period. As I would circle through the boatyards and different pockets of the community, I began to identify very colorful patterns among the large pieces of machinery and scrap metal remaining in the village. I would purposely scan these items looking for colors and patterns extremely unique to the equipment, documenting picture points, and returning when the lighting was adequate. This is my first series, and appropriately named "Abstract Alaska"
